Checking ammo prices has never been easier than with AmmoSquared, making managing your ammo supplies a snap. From checking out the costs of different types of 9mm to trading it in for another option, AmmoSquared can help you see prices, compare with a historical price chart, and use the stored value you’ve built with your reserves to swap or upgrade ammunition.

Easily Check Prices

After signing up for AmmoSquared, you get access to price charts. Select the caliber and purpose of the ammunition you want to start storing, and you’ll get a price that is a blend of prices for that caliber, which helps you get an overview of prices.

You can change from practice ammo to home defense, 5.56 mm green tip to subsonic 9mm. It’s easy to start managing your reserves and adding what you want to your supply after looking at the prices.

How AmmoSquared Calculates Prices

How does AmmoSquared calculate its prices? It’s a blend based on the median price of your selected caliber and grade from a variety of market sources. It’s transparent and below the market average, but not the cheapest you can find.

With three tiers of quality, you know you are still getting good brands rather than steel-cased, low-quality rounds that leave too much carbon inside your barrel. Looking at just the 9mm bullet cost misses the point, as you can’t compare PPU to Nosler or MaxxTech to Sig Sauer, and you aren’t adding the cheapest or worst ammo on the market to your supplies.

Managing Your Reserves

Once you have your reserves, it’s easy to manage them. Using either the AmmoSquared app or website, you can change what kind of ammo you want, which calibers, and which brand tier. It only takes a few moments. If the prices of your ammunition have gone up, you can use that stored value to upgrade to a higher tier or a different kind of ammo. You can even swap out ammo you no longer want, such as when you sell a gun, for different calibers.
